PREVIEW
The Dodgers broke out of their slump with a 3-1 win yesterday, thanks to a great pitching performance. I expect the same from their starter today, who will relish playing here against his former club.
The Dodgers send out Zack Greinke, who is 2-0 with a 1.62ERA this season. You wouldn't have known he is coming back from a broken collarbone, as he restricted the Washington Nats to just 1 run through over 5 innings. He knows Miller Park well, having been a Brewer once upon a time, and has gone 15-0 here with a 2.89ERA!!
The Brewers counter with a right-hander too, Hiram Burgos. He is 1-2 with an ugly 6.58ERA. His last start saw him lose after giving up 3 runs in 5 innings to Pittsburgh, and before that he allowed a whopping 12 runs in just 3 innings against Cincinnati!
Milwaukee aren't managing to score runs to keep up, with a 0-18 record when scoring fewer than 4 runs and going 2-16 when allowing more than 4. Don't know how they score here, as the Dodgers starters are white hot, going 5-1 the past 9 games with a stingy 1.60ERA!
BETTING VERDICT
I'll take the Dodgers again here and I think they should win this by more than just a single run.
