Uruguay have achieved a great success at this World Cup as no one predicted that they could go this far and be the only South American country among the top four teams in the World.
They played really well against Holland which was not enough for them to reach the Final, but there is no need for disappointment in the team as they have waited for over forty years to be in the World Cup semifinals again. Interesting fact is that back in 1970 Uruguay have played against Germany in the match for third place where Germany have won 1-0.
Diego Forlan played the last match injured and was substituted in 84th minute by Sebastian Fernandez but he should be in the starting line up for the last match at the tournament. He still has a thigh problem and is a bit doubtful, but according to his words he should be able to play in this match.
Luis Suarez will be back in the attack after serving his one match ban for the red card which he had picked up against Ghana. Diego Lugano has recovered from his muscle injury and will take his place as central defender and Jorge Fucile should be also back in the starting line up after serving his suspension.

Germany also impressed at this World Cup and this young squad made huge achievement, having on mind that prior this World Cup, main goal for Germany was to build a team that will dominate in the following years, so we should expect even stronger team for the next Euro tournament as well as the following World Cup.
Mesut Ozil and Bastian Schweinsteiger are among the ten nominees for the Golden Ball award and Thomas Muller is nominated for best young player, so the German national team has a bright future ahead.
In the last match against Spain, they were simply not good enough and maybe they approached the match too cautiously. In the first 30 minutes Germany did not had single shot at Spain`s goal and Spain clearly dominated possession, so the Germans could not repeat their performances from the previous matches.
The absence of Thomas Muller was very obvious as the midfield lacked creativity and speed. He is back again for this match so we should expect better performance by the team. Also another change in the defense is expected where Jerome Boateng will probably be replaced with Marcel Jansen. Boateng played really bad in the last match where he lost all duels and that is one of the reasons he was replaced in that match with Jansen.
There are some worries in the squad prior this match as several players plus the coach Joachim Loew are hit with an infection. Lukas Podolski and Phillip Lahm are battling with the flu, and Miroslav Klose had a back problem skipping the last training session, but all of them should be prepared to play in this match.

I expect this match to be without pressure for both teams and we should probably see few goals here. Miroslav Klose is on pursuit of Pele`s record of 15 goals scored at World Cups and Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez are deadly duo of strikers.
This should probably be an open match and both teams have nothing to lose as the battle for bronze is just a matter of prestige between the sides. However, i think that Germany have the quality and edge to win games like these, and with full (and healthy) squad available they can hardly lose twice in a row.
