Falkirk (10th) Home Record W1 D3 L4
Dundee United (3rd) Away Record W4 D5 L1
Falkirk earned a terrific point last week at Celtic Park and they fully deserved it as they frustrated Celtic with some good defending and organisation. They certainly didnt look like the bottom side and if they keep playing like that they shouldnt be for too long.
The signings of Colin Healy and Enoch Showunmi have definitely strengthened the squad and Showunmi was a constant headache to Celtic last week. And theres more good news as Defender Darren Barr will be staying till the end of the season as he attracts interest from the likes of Hibs and Aberdeen.
Unfortunately for Eddie May's side they were knocked out of the Cup on Monday night at Kilmarnock by a 1-0 scoreline. It was a rather fortunate goal for Killie and perhaps unlucky on Falkirk who created the better chances. It may be a good thing though for Falkirk as it keeps their mind focused on the SPL and survival in it. Their form has improved in recent weeks and they have been finding the net more frequently than the early part of the season.
Dundee United come into this game on a run of 3 wins in a row. Last week they beat Hibs 1-0 in a vital clash in the battle for third spot. It was a big win for United as their form had taking a dip before those wins. When Craig Levein left to take over as Scotland Boss they got just 1 point in 4 games including a 7-1 hammering at Rangers.
But United have looked more solid after that blip in form and havent conceded in the last 3 games. The loss of Levein was a big blow as Levein had been hugely successful as the Tangerines manager and making them consistently one of the best sides outside of the old firm over the last few seasons.
If it wasnt for the departure of Levein they could still be hot on the heels of Rangers at the top of the SPL.
Their away form has also been impressive with just one defeat on the road all season. United are likely to miss David Robertson with a thigh strain but hope Danny Swanson recovers from a knee injury in time.

VERDICT
Falkirk got a great point at Celtic Park last week and look a better side than the league table suggests lately, I like the DOUBLE CHANCE BET of FALKIRK TO WIN OR DRAW at 4/6.
