Analysis:Manchester United knows a win here can put them closer towards securing their third Premier League title in a row when they travel to face Wigan Athletic in this match.
Since the back to back defeats they suffered in March, The Red Devils have managed six straight consecutive wins to help close their grasp within the League title. Liverpool are behind with three points, but United have a game in hand.
This is the game in hand which United has over Liverpool and a win would take them to within a point of the title, with two games remaining. Wigan also have doubts over defender Paul Scharner, who picked up an ankle injury in training while striker Amr Zaki is out of this clash with an ankle injury. Mido will start this match in attack.
The likes of defenders Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans will go through a late fitness test to see if they are fit to feature. Ferdinand injured his calf in training on Saturday which caused him to miss United's derby win over Manchester City, while his replacement Evans limped off with a hamstring injury.
John O'Shea is set to start in central defence if both players are unfit. Meanwhile Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooneywill return to the side as United needs just four points to win the title.
