2008-12-07 - Washington Redskins at Baltimore Ravens
A Sports Betting Pick by Dogg
M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
Sunday December 7th, 2008 - Kickoff 8:15 PM ET
Baltimore Ravens (8-4 SU, 4-1 Home, 9-3 ATS)
Baltimore has quietly been dominating their opponents.
They are only one game behind the Steelers and the Baltimore defense is almost as dominant as the Steelers. They are #2 or #3 in almost every category.
Flacco has improved and is playing well. The Ravens don’t need to have a big play maker at quarterback, just someone that won’t make mistakes, Flacco is turning into that guy.
The running game is steady and the offense is more than capable of scoring enough to beat the Redskins.
Washington Redskins (7-5 SU, 4-1 Road, 5-6-1 ATS)
The Redskins have turned out to be a fraud. They are horrible on offense and that is carrying over to the defense.
I thought that the 'Skins could stay in games with the defense and running game as they have the leading rushing in the league, but now Portis is hurting and not playing well.
Campbell at quarterback is awful, he can’t get the ball down field and is playing like a deer in the headlights.
Washington just can't compete with good teams.
THE VERDICT
The Ravens defense will chew up Campbell and spit him out.
The Redskins defense will get worn down as the game goes on, due to playing with poor field position.
The Ravens will win big and cover this spread.
Best of luck
