2008-12-07 - New England Pats at Seattle Seahawks
A Sports Betting Pick by Dogg
Qwest Field, Seattle, WA
Sunday December 7th, 2008 - Kickoff 4:05 PM ET
New England (7-5 SU, 3-2 Road, 6-6 ATS)
New England isn’t a great team anymore, but they are a good team. The loss to Pittsburgh, and they way it happened proved that.
That being said, the Pats are a much better team than Seattle.
New England are are fighting for their lives in the playoff hunt. They don’t have any tie breakers, so they need to win almost every game from here on out.
Seattle is a team that the Patriots should beat handily, and they know it. They can't have a let down this time.
Seattle Seahawks (2-10 SU, 1-5 home, 4-7-1 ATS)
Seattle is playing out the string now. The head coach is leaving after this season and I feel he does not really care any longer.
Hasselbeck has twice as many interceptions as touchdown passes which tells you a lot about the Seahawks passing game.
The only area of the Seattle team that is better than New England’s is the kicker and I don't see that being the deciding factor.
The only thing Seattle have to play for is pride and I don't think that will be enough.
The Verdict
The Pats are on a mission to prove that they are better than they showed last week. The Seahawks just want to get the season over with and play golf in the off season.
Best of Luck
