2008-11-30 - New York Giants at Washington Redskins
A Sports Betting Pick by Dogg
FedEx Field, Landover, MD
Sunday November 30, 2008 - Kickoff 1:00 PM ET,
New York Giants (10-1 SU, 4-1 Road, 9-2 ATS)
The Giants look to be the best team in the NFL.
They have only stumbled once, that night in Cleveland and I'm looking for another game where they aren’t quite as sharp as usual.
The Giants have the top ranked scoring and rushing offense in the league, but their leading rusher and 11 TD guy, Jacobs is questionable with a knee injury.
Even if he plays a bad knee is a problem against a very good Washington defense. I don’t see him playing or if he does not much.
The Giants are cruising to the best record in the conference, and endangering your best back, in a game that isn’t really that important isn’t smart.
They need him healthy for the playoffs, not necessarily against the Redskins in week 13. It also looks like Burress might not play with a bad hamstring, for the same reasons.
UPDATE :
And Burress has "shot himself" at a NY club ... and will definately be out. Check the news report on the left.
Washington Redskins (7-4 SU, 3-3 Home, 5-5-1 ATS)
The Redskins have had this game circled on their calendar.
Washington looked horrible in week one against this team and want to prove that they are better than they looked that night, but even though they played terrible, the 'Skins still only lost 16-7.
THE VERDICT
This just looks like a game that has much more meaning to the Redskins than to the Giants and I look for a possible Washington upset.
Best of Luck
