I’m not a believer in the Jets. They are getting hyped to the max.
All the sudden the media thinks its going to be an all New York Super Bowl. I think the Jets themselves are getting caught up in it and reading their own press clippings saying how great they are.
Yes they played a good game against the undefeated Titans.
Everyone knew the Titans would eventually lose, I feel it was just time for that bubble to pop, and the Jets are a good enough to have been the one to do it.
The Jets are second in the league in scoring, but its been done by great fortune rather than great offense. They are 11th in total yards, 16th in passing and 9th in rushing.
That tells me there has been a lot of good luck. Yes the Broncos defense in suspect, but it’s not like the Jets are world beaters, as we are lead to believe.
Denver Broncos (6-5 SU, 3-2 Road, 3-7-1 ATS)
The Denver offense is head and shoulders better than New York's in my opinion and statistically too. The Broncos are 2nd in the league in total offense, 3rd in passing, and 18th in rushing.
Rushing defense is the Jets strong suit, but their pass defense is 26th. Denver will move the ball and at the very least keep this game close.
The Broncos are still leading their division and can't afford any loses, they will be totally focused against an over-rated Jets team.
THE VERDICT
The Jets will probably win this game, but it will stay close and nine points are too many to be giving up.
