Analysis:

Greece have nothing more but pride to play here as they have already been knocked out of the competition since losing 1-0 to Russia last weekend in their second game of the Euro 2008.

Greece have so far failed to score a single goal and after the initial 2-0 defeat to Sweden in their opening game, they will want to be eager to avoid the unwanted statistic of becoming the first reigning champions to be eliminated from the following European Championship without scoring a goal even!

Spain have secured their top spot as group winners so they could do what Portugal have done previously and rest a number of their players in this match. Luiz Aragones will want to prepare his side for a quarter-final meeting with world champions Italy on Sunday so will at least look to try out some new players here.

For German-born Rehhagel he will keep his place in the side even though Greece have fared poorly in the competition as he has a conract until 2010 World Cup. And Rehhagel is expected to field a number of player who have not played before in the past two matches for run ins.

But he is expected to miss a number of players due to injuries, the likes of striker Theofanis Gekas who is a doubt after sustaining a fractured cheekbone, while full-backs Vassilis Torosidis and Giourkas Seitaridis could also miss out with groin problems. They have not been helped by the news that Giorgios Karagounis could also miss out with the leg injury he has been carrying all tournament and Alexandros Tziolis is among those ready to step into his shoes for today's match.

Spain on the other hand will use this match to give exposure to their young ones and Aragones is also ready to field a much-changed side with striking stars David Villa and Fernando Torres expected to be rested.

Centre-back Carles Puyol will be missing after sustaining a foot problem in the win over Sweden and Raul Albiol is likely to deputise, while David Silva is a doubt with a toe injury and is not likely to be risked.
