Fiorentina travels to the Stadio Olimpico for the final match of the season knowing that they must win in order to qualify for the Champions League and fend off the challenge from A.C Milan who are just a point behind them. The hosts Torino have nothing left to play for this season as they have secured their stay in Serie A for yet another season.

Fiorentina find themselves back in the Champions League race after the surprise slip by A.C Milan against Napoli last week. Now their destiny is in their own hands as a win by any margin here would guarantee them a place in Europe's top elite competition next season.

However Fiorentina are without the likes of Adrian Mutu and Marco Donadel who are both suspended which means that Cesare Prandelli's options are rather limited here. His cause is also not helped by the fact that he is missing the likes of Christian Vieri, Daniele Cacia and Dario Dainelli for the rest of the season due to injuries. That means they are likely to keep faith with the same side that beat Parma 3-1 in their last match which also saw the last time Coach Hector Cuper in charge of Parma as he was sacked a few days after that.

Fiorentina will use midfielders Massimo Gobbi and Martin Jorgensen as makeshift full-backs as Pablo Osvaldo and Mario Santana will be pushed forward. They will also provide support to striker Giampaolo Pazzini upfront.

For Torino, Coach Gianni De Biasi will make little changes if any for this match. Which means we could see the bulk of the players who won their last match also featured here today. The only change could be is Marco Motta is suspended which means that he will not play any part in their final match of the season. Instead Paolo Dellafiore will take his place as he did come in as a substitute last week as well. For Alessandro Rosina this could be his last match after he is reportedly moving from the club after three season with the club so he will be expected to give his best here.

For Torino, they will celebrate the final outcome of this match regardless if they were to win or lose as they have secured their stay in Serie A and their win last week against Livorno was the icing on the cake. They were beaten by Fiorentina here last season going down 0-1 so we could expect a similar result here today.
After wins over Napoli and Livorno De Biasi has stated that out of respect to A.C Milan he will field a strong lineup here and will not go down easily to Fiorentina, but they will take it easy after they have nothing left to play for which could see Fiorentina winning by a goal or two here.
