2008-05-14 - Hull City vs Watford
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:Hull City knows they are just one step away from going to the Final of the playoffs for the right to meet Bristol City and after completing a 2-0 win in the first leg, they are just one step away from realising that dream.
Dean Marney will undergo a late fitness test after he missed the first leg with a knee injury. The likes of Jay-Jay Okocha and Henrik Pedersen are also pushing to start this match after they did not feature in the first leg for the Tigers. Apart from those players needing late fitness tests, Phil Brown has no other injuries to worry about and will be backed by the home crowd to finish the job here at home.
The visitors Watford will come into this match 2-0 down but will be boosted with the return of captain John Eustace after he missed the first leg after his red card he received was rescinded after appeal. Also back in the side is striker Darius Henderson after he missed the first leg through suspension. They will need to go for the goals here but their form entering this match is really poor though. Prior to the first leg defeat to Hull, they failed to win in any of their last five matches drawing two in the process.
Their cause is not helped by the fact that defender Danny Shittu is a serious doubt after he strained his hamstring at the weekend which means that former captain Jay DeMerit is likely to return alongside Leigh Bromby in the centre of defence.
It looks like it will be a bit of a struggle for Watford to get a draw even here so take Hull City and give the 1/4 ball here.
Cheers and good luck,
