Does anyone want to join me in jumping on the BYU bandwagon as they should pummel the defenceless San Diego Aztecs in this likely blow-out?The Cougars jumped out to a 10-0 lead last week against TCU (who are the defending Mountain West champions) and they looked very solid right throughout the match.
BYU have been a secret sleeper side for those in the know - going 9-2-2 in their last 13 games against the spread, and they have a well balanced offense in the hands of senior QB John Beck who has a good selection of receivers to throw to.
San Diego State have been a little unlucky this season, not in the shorelines as they've been well beaten every time, but in the injury department as the Aztecs are now without their top two QB's (O’Connell and Mougey) and also their top RB (Hamilton).
The Aztecs were thumped 10-31 by San Jose State last weekend - a school that most people ranked as similar strength - and that gives us a good lead into their likely performance level this week.
I favour BYU to have too much at home against the wounded Aztecs.
