PREVIEW

This is the final game of a 3 game series and I expect the Cardinals to thump the Marlins again. Yesterdays game ended 13-7 to St. Louis!

Ricky Nolasco is pitching for the Marlins, and his form is terrible. He is 3-7 with a 3.80ERA this term and that in part of a run that includes losses in 14 of his last 17 starts! He sucks against St. Louis too, going 0-4 against the Cardinals all time when pitching at home.

Tyler Lyons goes for the Cards, with a 2-2 mark and 3.51ERA. This is a rookie looking to bounce back from 2 losses but he showed great form in his first 2 starts, with just 2 runs allowed combined to beat San Diego and Kansas City. I think the southpaw will have a great chance to beat a terrible Miami side, especially with his offence able to score in bunches against Nolasco.

Nolasco has lost 5 of his last 6 decisions, has never beaten the Cards here at home, and his confidence will be non-existent.

BETTING VERDICT

I'll go with the Cards to win this by at least 2 runs.

The Pick :

St. Louis Cardinals 5-2 Miami Marlins
