Inter Milan managed to avoid their fourth consecutive defeat at Genoa last weekend, but they remain with only one victory from their last nine Serie A games.

The Nerazzuri will finish eight or ninth depending on today’s results, but either way it will be a season that Inter will want to forget as soon as possible.

Massimo Moratti is already planning Inter’s strategy for the upcoming season, which will probably not include coach Andrea Stramaccioni despite both of them avoided to answer questions on the matter.

Inter Milan will now host Udinese on their last match of the season with an injury stricken squad, the latest addition to the injury list is striker Cassano who fractured his hand in training.

The atmosphere within Udinese’s squad is quite different from Inter’s, the Friulani are running hot at the moment having won their last seven Serie A games.

These results have given Udinese the initiative in the race for the last Europa League spot and with an eight consecutive win they will surely finish on the 5th position to secure a European presence.

Cagliari could give them some help as well, any other result than a Lazio win in Trieste will automatically eliminate the Biancocelesti from the race.

There were some reports saying that Udinese’s top scorer Antonio Di Natale will sit this one out through injury, but Guidolin assured their fans that Toto will start in Milan. Andrea Lazzari is Guidolin’s only confirmed absence.

The Betting Verdict

Inter Milan will start this match with a unique four man defense (Nagatomi, Pasa, Juan Jesus, Pereira), so I expect Udinese’s quick strikers to make a lot of damage tonight.

The Nerazzuri will find it hard to break down Udinese’s tight defense with Rocchi as a lone striker, I think Muriel and Di Natale will pose more of a danger to Inter’s defense than vice versa.

This should be a good as a chance as any for Udinese to complete a double over a struggling Inter Milan side after their impressive 3-0 win against the Nerazzuri back in January at the Stadio Friuli.
