This will be a battle between the two bottom sides in the S League as Hougang takes on Young Lions at the Hougang Stadium on Tuesday Evening in Singapore.
Hougang comes into this match with back to back wins but agonizingly for them, the teams around them also won their matches. Geylang, as expected beat Young Lions, Warriors beat DPMM Brunei and Harimau Muda also winning their match.

After both teams faced off in February (which Hougang won 3-0), Young Lions have since failed to picked up a single point in their last eleven matches of the season.
Despite the Young Lions managing to get a draw against Balestier Khalsa during their second game, however, the S.League decided to forfeit all their points and rewarded their opponents with a 3-0 win after it was discovered that Young Lions had fielded ineligible players during their first three games.
Since then the Young Lions had added on Raihan Rahman and Iqbal Hussein from Lions XII into their side. In turn, they have lost Fazli Ayob to the same team. Their key player is no doubt Sherif El-Masri. Sherif have scored four goals all season, however, they have done badly in all other departments.
After the stunning victory against Home United, Hougang are in confident mood coming into this match. They defied the odds and took the three points against their more highly ranked opponents. Their confidence and mood in the side is good and they will be aiming for all three points in this match as well.
After a six game stretch where Hougang failed to win, now they have proved they can win matches and will go for all three points against the bottom club.
However, this match comes too soon for Robert Eziakor who have started light training but will likely be back for the match against Tampines Rovers on the 12tth May. Jerome Baker is uncertain if he will start this match after he was taken off early in their last match against the Warriors.
