After the exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek, they will now entertain Real Valladolid in the La Liga clash.
Despite winning 2-0 against Dortmund, they still failed to overcome the 4-1 first leg aggregate to go out 4-3 on the night and with the league all done as they cannot catch Barcelona, they have only second place now so it is just pride to play for in this match.

The pre-match has also been more of a talk with regards of Jose Mourinho moving to Chelsea, to which he replied he is not decided on his future until the La Liga is over. And it is also difficult to imagine what kind of team Mourinho will put out here with the Coppa del Ray just two weeks away.
It is not going to be a full strength side that is for sure, Ronaldo is likely to be rested, or given an injury excuse, and it is hard to see a high scoring game here. In fact in their last few league games at home Madrid have started slowly and there is every reason to think they might do that again tonight.
Also when you consider that Real Valladolid have failed to score a first-half goal away from home in any of their last six matches, then we are also likely to see goals being scored in the second half or a low scoring affair.
