Poor Basel, who having scored a penalty to level at home in the 1st leg, then gave away a goal with the very last kick of the match. It ended 2-1 to Chelsea, and it would take a very brave man to bet against them progressing, especially with a cup specialist manager like Benitez.
Basel should not be completely counted out though, for they have shown some good form in games, most notably on their last trip to London, when they came and led 2-0 at Tottenham before giving up the goals that left that game to end in a draw. I certainly don't think they will be blanked here.
Chelsea should progress, but there is every chance they give up goals. Looking at Chelsea's European games, I can't find a single home game where they have blanked their opposition.
Basel absolutely have to score goals here, as even a 1-0 win will not do because Chelsea have 2 away from home. With a minimum of 2 required, expect the Swiss side to go on the attack.
Remember, this is a Basel side that was able to beat Bayern just last season, so while they have not won away from home in Europe this season, betting against them could lead to a horrible surprise at prices that I feel are bad value.
With all the attack, it is unlikely that Chelsea fail to counter and score. They've scored 2 good goals against Basel already, and with the visitors desperate and with home advantage, they could do it again.
I really don't know what the result will be so have suggested a score full of goals, because that is the only thing I feel comfortable about predicting - goals.

I considered the Overs for this one, but maybe we can just take both sides to score as that requires only 2 to be scored instead of 3.
