Los Angeles may have won 10 of the last 11 meetings with St. Louis, including all meetings this year and the playoffs last year when they defeated them en route to becoming champions, but they have limped into the playoffs with an 0-4-2 record in their last 6 road games, and come here to face a Blues side that has won their last 6 home games. Not an easy game.
The Blues defence will be key here, as they have not given up more than a goal in any of those last 6 home wins. In fact, they have given up just 1 per game through those, and that will make life difficult for the Kings. The Blues know keeping tight defensively is key, for their last win against the Kings came in a 1-0 result in early Feb last year.

I see the number posted as 5, and while I would have preferred 5.5 I'm happy to take the under. There is a chance of it ending 2-2 which means we are guaranteed a 5th in extra time but that does not lose us money so it's worth taking the Under.
