Concordia Chiajna is another team in crisis, Ilie Stan’s side just suffered a heavy defeat against survival contenders Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt (0-3) which was their sixth consecutive defeat.
Following these poor results, Concordia dropped below the line for the first time since the beginning of the season, the team from Chiajna actually spent most of the season in the top 10.
Concordia is now 15th in the Liga 1 table, two points away from safety. They will try to stop the fall with a positive result against Vaslui, but their head to head record against Gabi Balint’s side is disastrous.

Owner Adrian Porumboiu appointed former Romanian international Gabi Balint as head coach for the rest of the season after Viorel Hizo resigned two weeks ago.
Gabi Balint’s first match in charge didn’t ended as he would’ve hoped, Vaslui only picked up a point fromt their home match against Brasov last weekend.
Vaslui’s objective to finish on the podium at the end of the season is now in jeopardy, they are only 6th at the moment, seven points below third placed Astra Giurgiu.
The Betting Verdict
As I mentioned before, Concordia’s record against Vaslui is disastrous, since the team from Chaijna promoted to Liga 1 they’ve lost all three games against Vaslui, conceding 11 goals and scoring none.
Luckily for them Vaslui is not the team they were back when those game took place, they don’t seem to be capable to net three or four goals in a match.
Vaslui only recorded two wins on the road during this season and have only scored four goals on their last nine travels, so the home side will surely hope for a point here.
I’ll back unders in this one, both sides will be under a lot of pressure and that should make them play with caution. Even if they would want to push, these two are struggling a lot when it comes to creating goal scoring opportunities.
