They did however spring a surprise when they managed to get a point against Albirex Niigata when the match ended 2-2 at home. However, when you take a look at their other home games, other then the win over Hougang, they did lose against Home United 3-1 as well as Singapore Armed Forces 3-0 at home as well.
Their last clash ended in a 1-1 draw when Geylang played host. The last time Woodlands hosted it ended in a 3-1 win for them, prior to that it finished in a 2-1 win for Geylang back as well as a 2-2 drawback in 2011.
