BETTING PREVIEW
After watching the way Malaga and Galatasaray gallantly fought in their second legs, I have no doubt we are going to see some massive performances from Juventus and PSG, who come to Barcelona knowing they will not have to contend with Messi.
Messi is the heart of this Barcelona side, yet without him the team banged 5 goals past Mallorca on the weekend, with Fabregas scoring his first ever hattrick. It was not what I expected, and having seen that I feel PSG have their work cut out for them.
PSG aren't short on spirit, coming from 0-2 down to get a 2-2 draw in the 1st leg. However, despite being admirably level after half the tie, they have still given up 2 away goals, and I feel they will need at least 2 goals in this match to have a chance. Barcelona know how to get it done at home under pressure, scoring 4 here against Milan having lost 2-0 away.
PSG do have Zlatan to call upon though. The Swede scored in the 1st leg and also had an assist for the late equaliser, and will surely be a threat to his former team, having scored again for his club on the weekend in a 2-0 result at Rennes.
PSG have also won 3 out of 4 away games in the Champions League this season, so to dismiss their chances here would be silly. They will have a say, even if they go out.
THE BETTING VERDICT
I'm going to keep it simple and go with both sides to net in this match, although I do expect Barcelona to nick it over 90 minutes and progress.
