Bristol City
Bristol City drew 0-0 at Blackpool on a shambolic pitch on Saturday. The point leaves City in the drop zone and they are rock bottom. A win on Tuesday would move them potentially out of the relegation zone but unfortunately for them high flying Brighton are in town.
O'Driscoll's side are unbeaten in 2 league games but with others around them picking up points they remain in the drop zone. The home form will be key for this side come now and May and they simply can't afford to drop points at Ashton Gate.
At home it's 4 wins in a row and 5 from 6 for City. Having seen off Watford, Forest and Ipswich over this run they won't fear Brighton and will surely be going for the win.
2 of the last 3 home wins have been to nil but their last game was incredibly open ending 5-3 agaisnt Barnsley. Going forward this team has scored at least 2 goals in the last 4 home games making them incredibly tough to beat on their own patch.
Brighton
Brighton won 4-1 against Huddersfield on Saturday to close the gap on the top 5. Currently in 6th Brighton are the in form side in the league and a late push for the top 2 isn't out of the question.
Poyet's side enter this game with 3 straight wins and 4 in 5 dropping just 2 points from a possible 15. Given that teams are taking points off each other they could easily move up the table and no one will fancy playing this team at the minute.
Away from home Brighton won for the first time in 3 at leaders Cardiff last time out. 1 loss in 6 shows they too are hard to beat on the road and I think they and Bristol will go all out for wins in this one.
Brighton have scored in the last 6 away league games netting 2 or more in 4 of the last 6. Defensively, the clean sheet at Cardiff is the first in 3 and this side hasn't had back to back away clean sheets all season.
Betting Verdict
Brighton are odds against favourites to win this game and looking at their form (4 wins in 5) it's hard to go against them. The hosts are excellent at home however winning 5 from 6 and I don't think they will lay down for anyone given their relegation predicament.
I like overs as the bet in this one. Brighton are scoring freely on their travels and Bristol City gave up 3 in their last home game to lowly Barnsley.
The away side haven't kept away clean sheets all season and Bristol City has scored 2 or more in 4 straight at home. The hosts haven't drawn at home in 8 league games now so I'm expecting a winner.
The visitors are the most likely but I would have wanted at least 6/4 on them. As a result both to net in a game where we should find a winner with attacks on top.
Good Luck
