A Sports Betting Pick by Lamps
Football : England : Championship

Bristol City
Bristol City lost 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Tuesday as they remain rock bottom of the Championship. The gap to safety is 6 points so they need to take something from Saturday's game with Barnsley.
O'Driscoll's side have lost the last 2 league games and 3 of 4. Their games are always open and no draw in 10 testifies to that, unfortunately their record over the last 10 is 4 wins and 6 losses.
The home form is good with 3 wins on the bounce and 4 in the last 5. Bristol City rely heavily on their home form and if they don't maintain their form here they are sure to go down.
6 goals in scored 3 games is excellent going forward and defensively back to back clean sheets is impressive. Prior to the recent shut outs City went 14 without a home clean sheet so O'Driscoll must be commended for his work.
Barnsley
Barnsley beat Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-1) after trailing 0-1 midweek to move up into 20th and 2 clear of the drop zone. Like the hosts, a win here would be huge in terms of overall survival.
Flitcroft's side have won 4 straight league games now as their form has improved dramatically. It's 6 unbeaten for Barnsley of which 5 have ended in wins so confidence couldn't be higher for them ahead of this game.
Away from home Barnsley has won the last 2 and are unbeaten in 3. 1 loss in 7 away games is an excellent return but bizarrely it was struggling Peterborough who beat them over this period and not the likes of Leicester.
6 scored in the last 3 away is very good and Barnsley have scored in the last 8 away games. Both sides have scored in 8 straight away games as Barnsley haven't kept a clean sheet in 10 games going back to September.
Betting Verdict
I can't pick a winner in this game as both sides have strong arguments. Bristol City have won 4 from 5 at home and will give anyone a game in this division. The visitors have won 4 straight league games and 1 loss in 7 is brilliant for a side down at the bottom of the table.
One thing that I expect is goals. The hosts are averaging 2 a game at the moment at home and Barnsley don't do clean sheets on their travels (none in 10).
The hosts have kept clean sheets in recent games but I don't think they will against Barnsley. The visitors have also scored 6 in the last 3 on their away split so I'm expecting a game with a high amount of chances.
Both to score looks a good bet but I will be a little adventurous and back overs. The fear is 1-1 but both sides have a lot of fire power and when it's 2 sides at bottom playing there's usually goals and at near evens, that's the play here.
Good Luck
