Pescara comes into this match being in the bottom three after recent poor results has gone against them as they have failed to win in their last five games. Their opponents Cagliari are four points above them and have managed to avoid a defeat in their last five matches.
One thing Pescara managed to do was stopped their losing streak when they managed a draw against fellow strugglers Palermo last weekend. Birkir Bjarnason gave them the lead but they failed to hold on to it as Diego Fabbrini equalized for Palermo to share the spoils.
