Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu is expecting a difficult match when his side comes up against Borussia Dortmund tonight in the last 16 of the Champions League tie after the German side did not lose a game to reach the knockout stage, considering they had other Champions of their own countries in their group with the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Ajax to contend with.

But Lucescu who guided Shakhtar to second place in their group, at the expense of reigning European champions Chelsea, knows to expect a torrid time is in store when he faces Dortmund. He was quoted as saying that Dortmund came out tops and won the strongest group of this season's competition and that just shows how good they are. And even though Dortmund does not boast of super stars in their team but they rely on team work and has been perfectly fine tuned.

Lucescu further added that no other team in the Bundesliga plays such a passing and flowing game as Dortmund but it is important they concentrate on their own game then worrying about their opposition. Lucescu will hope that class and experience of his players will help them to approach the Bundesliga Champion so that they can qualify to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp will take the reigning German champions to Ukraine witht he hope of getting the better of Shakhtar. Klopp has expressed his happiness saying that he enjoyed doing what he does at Dortmund, despite a move by Chelsea to replace interim manager Rafa Benitez in the summer. Klopp added that he is not motivated by the money but it is a big honour for him and it is a great club and a great city to be in.

Coming into tonight's match, Shakhtar have not played a competitive fixture since losing on the final matchday of the group phase to Juventus whilst Dortmund go in tonight's match on the back of a surprise 4-1 home defeat to Hamburg at the weekend and Klopp is determined not to suffer another defeat tonight.
