Juventus will not be happy with their 1-1 draw in midweek against Lazio, as it leaves them with no advantage going into the 2nd leg. Their attention returns to Serie A, where they need a win here to extend their 5 point lead over 2nd placed Napoli, who play on Sunday.

Juventus will be confident of beaten their desperate opponents, who are 18th, a whole 31 points behind them. Juventus have won 4 of the last 7 meetings, losing none. The most recent meeting came at Genoa earlier this season, with Juventus winning 3-1.

Genoa are here under a new manager, who is under serious pressure to keep the team up. It's a hard matchup, as Juve have lost just once in the last 18 meetings with Genoa, and have won 3 of their last 4 Serie A home games without even conceding! Genoa will look at the way Sampdoria won here but I think that loss will only have focused the Old Lady, who are buoyed by Buffons decision to extend his stay in Turin. With him in goal, Juve have conceded just 14 goals, best in the league.

So how are Genoa doing? Pretty badly. They've lost 4 of their last 7 league games, winning just once. Away from home it's even worse, as Genoa have won just 2 of their last 22 played away from home! The poor chaps are going to have a torrid time against the leagues best attack, as Juventus have scored 45 goals through 21 games, over 2 per match.

Poor Genoa have blown more points from leading positions than any other Serie A team, so even if they take a lead here (doubtful), it will surely be overturned.

I think Juve will take out the frustrations from that 1-1 draw with Lazio on Genoa.

This one gets ugly, and I'll take the champions to win by 2 or more goals.
