There is no doubt that this game is the "Match of the week" as Chelsea welcomes Liverpool to Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers who had a spell in Chelsea's coaching staff earlier in his career will want to get a win as well after collecting just two league wins since taking over the side in the summer.
The Reds travel to London on the back of a Europa League defeat by Anzhi Makhachkala but they did however rested their key players and fielded mostly substitutes and youngsters which explained their 1-0 defeat in that match.
It should be noted that Liverpool have won their last four clashes in a row against Chelsea and have lost only two of their last 11 Premier League games against Roberto Di Matteo side.

The hosts Chelsea will once again miss the services of Ashley Cole when Liverpool visits. Cole sat out Wednesday's Champions League win over Shakhtar with a hamstring injury and at best he will return for next weekend's trip to West Bromwich Albion. John Terry, who will return from his suspension, after he was left on the bench in midweek. Frank Lampared is still out with injury.

The visitors rested the likes of Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin, Daniel Agger, Jose Reina, Glen Johnson, Raheem Sterling and Jose Enrique in their midweek defeat to Anzhi.
They are likely to return to the starting lineup at Stamford Bridge, although it remains to be seen if Pepe Reina and Johnson have recovered in time. Reina has missed six matches with a hamstring injury while Johnson has been absent for four games with a similar problem.
