2012-11-03 - West Ham United vs Manchester City
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Match Preview :
Manchester City will be eager to maintain their winning run when they travel to face West Ham on Saturday. Roberto Mancini side will be eyeing their fifth consecutive win after their narrow win against Swansea in their last match.
That win was enough to put them third in the standings and level on points with Manchester United, with Chelsea a point at the top as they face a tricky match against Swansea. If City can maintain their good form and get a win they could go further up the standings, depending on results elsewhere, especially as Manchester United takes on Arsenal and Chelsea's tricky away game against Swansea.
West Ham on the other hand have a set of testing games to come, as after this match they have games against Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool still to come.
Sam Allardyce's promoted Hammers side currently sit in ninth spot but suffered a defeat against Wigan in their last match. It will be a testing time against City as West Ham have a poor record against them with the visitors winning seven and losing just once of their previous ten meetings with the Hammers.
For the record, City have won five and have yet to lose any of their last seven Premiership games going into this clash.
West Ham Team News :
Allardyce will not have any of his injured players as none of them have recovered in time ahead of this clash. The likes of Guy Demel (hernia) and Matthew Taylor (calf) are still out and the earliest they are expected back is in a fortnight.
Meanwhile, Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder) and Jack Collison (knee) are West Ham's long-term absentees.
Manchester City Team News :
Manchester City welcome back midfielder Garcia (thigh) and full-back Zabaleta (hamstring)from injuries while Milner join the side after serving out his suspension against Swansea last weekend.
However, midfielders David Silva and Jack Rodwell (both hamstring) and defender Maicon (foot) are still out while Richards is out with a serious knee injury against Swansea, and will be out for at least four weeks.
Predictions :
Go for Manchester City to win and give the 3/4 ball.
