Juventus are 4 points clear of the chasing pack and aiming to keep it that way when they travel to Siena to keep up their unbeaten run that goes back 45 games! I don't see that run ending here. Not against the team near the bottom of the pile.
Siena are going to find it hard scoring against Juventus, who have conceded just 3 goals through 6 games, scoring 15 themselves! Juventus have done well on the road, winning 7 straight away games before their draw at Florence, where they also kept a clean sheet. In fact, the leaders have clean sheets in all but 2 of their last 9 away games in Serie A!
Siena have lost 11 of the last 14 meetings with Juventus in Serie A, and in 10 of the last 12 meetings they have failed to even get themselves a goal. At home, they seem to have no advantage either, losing 6 and winning just 1.
Siena are still unbeaten at home, and did manage a scalp of Inter Milan, 2-0, before beating Bologna 1-0. The last game saw them slump to a 2-1 loss at Lazio, but they are still a weaker team than Juventus and so cannot be backed, even at the prices available.
The concern with Juventus is they may rest a few players for this game, which is an easier one, but I think players will be used as subs, should they be needed. This fixture ended 1-0 to Juventus last year and while there is the danger it may be a close one again, I'd rather have the bigger win on my side just in case.
BETTING VERDICT
Keep an eye out for Giovinco, who last year scored in 2 games against Siena. He's since made the move from Parma to the champions, but is worth having a look at in the anytime scorer markets.
I'll take Juventus to win, and give the 1 ball in search of a better payout.
