Parma travels to the Stadio Angelo Massimo to face Catania and they have earned the tag of draw specialist after draing their last three matches. Catania meanwhile will be eager to bounce back after losing their last match to Bolognia.
Catania comes into this match after they were thrashed by Bologna 4-0, no thanks to Alberto Gilardino who scored a brace in that match. They did well to recover after the defeat to Fiorentina to draw and win their next two games until they suffered the setback against Bologna.
Coach Rolando Maran attributed their defeat to poor finishing while Bologna made full use of their chances that came their way. Even though Catania's form away from home is suspect but at home they are still one of the six teams yet to lose on home soil.

Coach Roberto Donadoni had stated that Parma could have claimed all three points had they more belief in themselves. He was happy with how the week ended which was their third consecutive 1-1 draw after they played with Milan, Fiorentina and trip to Genoa all finished 1-1.
For the record, Parma have never beaten Catania in five Serie A meetings. Catania have won on three occasions with two draws also played, including a 1-1 encounter last season. Parma have never claimed a victory in 14 overall meetings between the pair.
