Match Preview :
Stoke who have yet to get a win welcomes the visit of Swansea to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday. To date Stoke have only been beaten once so far and that was to a late Ashley Cole goal last weekend. Their four other games have so far resulted in draws.
Meanwhile Swansea's performance have dipped following a good start to the season. They have suffered back to back defeats against Aston Villa as well as Everton in recent games. Even though in midweek they did beat Crawley 3-2 in the Capital One Cup, but it was anything from convincing as they had to thank Garry Monk who scored the winner.
When these sides meet each other it is normally tight encounters as seven league meetings have brough a 2-1 scoreline while last season both Premier League games ended 2-0.
But it has to be said that Tony Pulis' side have won just one of their last 16 Premier League games (W1 D10 L5) and none of the last 11 (W0 D8 L3) they have played in. But they are still unbeaten in their last nine matches at the Britannia Stadium (W3 D6 L0), a run that started with a win over Swansea, but they have drawn their last five in a as they prepare to face Swansea once again.
Team News :
Stoke Team News :
Stoke boss Pulis has a fully-fit squad to choose from in this match. Midfielder Charlie Adam came off during the 1-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend due to illness, but has recovered in time for this clash. However certain to miss this match is defender Andy Wilkinson, who serves the second match of a three-game suspension.
Swansea Team News :
Michael Laudrup will be boosted with the news that Chico Flores and Nathan Dyer is back from suspension. Defender Flores has missed three games since his red card against Sunderland, while winger Dyer sat out the Capital One Cup win over Crawley after he was red carded against Everton.
Menwhile, Manager Laudrup expects Jonathan de Guzman and Ashley Williams (both ankle) and Pablo Hernandez (knee) to shake off injuries to start this clash but Kemy Agustien is set to miss with a calf injury.
