PREVIEW
Swansea do not boast a good record against Everton at all, and will be hoping to change that in the early kickoff. In 15 meetings they have not won a single game against the Toffees and last season failed to even score a goal in their 2 meetings.
It's a good time to meet Everton, as the Merseyside club will be travelling following 2 really bad defensive performances. David Moyes' side were beaten 2-0 at West Brom, before twice giving up their lead to draw 2-2 at home against Newcastle United. In the other away game this season, they allowed Aston Villa a goal in a 3-1 win.
Swansea started the season in blistering fashion without their departed manager, trouncing QPR and West Ham by a combined 8-0 margin. They scored another 3-1 win in dispatching of Barnsley in the Cup before the defence finally gave way, as the side allowed 2 in a draw here against visiting Sunderland and then losing 2-0 on the road to Villa.
What Swansea do seem to do well is play at home, scoring more than a few goals. Michu already has 4 goals to his name, joint top-scorer in the league at this stage, alongside that other chap. Everton too have talent up front, having scored 6 goals so far. The team have lost Dempsey, but it Fellaini they have very dangerous weapon.
Everton may, like Swansea, have followed up their 2 opening wins with just 1 point from the next two, but bear in mind this team could have had 4 goals in that draw with Newcastle, foiled only by a couple of bad decisions. Offensively, this is a good team to stick your money on. At home, despite being blanked by Everton last year, Swansea do not look like a side that will be silenced over 90 minutes.
BETTING VERDICT
Both sides have conceded 2 goal per game in their last 2 of games. 8 goals. I think they each concede at least once in this one.
