Low remains in charge of the European Championship Semi Finalists for another term and many expect Germany to fly through their qualification group as they always seem to do. On Friday they host Faroe Islands at the AWD-Arena which should be lambs to the slaughter for the hosts.
Germany are not taking chances either here with a very strong side named. Podolski, Klose, Muller, Schürrle, Reus, Khedira and Ozil are all fit and ready to get some goals against the minnows.
As you expect Germany at home are fantastic winning all 5 of their qualifying games for the last Euros. The group wasn't exactly easy as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakstan, Austria and Belgium were the opposition. Turkey and Belgium are good up coming sides whilst Austria can be tricky, however Germany won all these games and by an aggregate of 22-3!
Against the minnows Germany also take little pity as the 6-1 Azerbaijan and 4-0 Kazakhstan victories have shown us. There's not much that needs to be said about this side they have class all over the pitch and will run out comfortable winners.
Faroe Islands
Olsen has one of the toughest jobs in the game taking charge of the Faroe Islands. The side is very poor and are after the group whipping boys. On Friday they visit Hannover and this could end up a cricket score.
It's hard to make a case for this team when they have just 1 win in their last 16 games, a 2-0 home victory over Estonia. This win in June 2011 has been followed by 4 defeats to Northern Ireland, Italy, Serbia and Iceland. Unfortunately this side will only ever get a win over lower level teams like themselves and it's no shock that they are 170/1 shots on the exchanges.
The away record makes for very grim reading with 7 straight defeats since their last draw. In their last 32 games going back to 2004, the side has just 2 away wins and that doesn't look like changing on Friday.
Betting Verdict
Lambs to the slaughter is one way of describing this one as Germany go off as 1.02 shots to win this game.
Obviously no one is touching that whilst there are no Asian lines out at the moment but I expect to see it around 4 or 5 goals.
The sides haven't met for a few years but Germany won both games back in 02/03 2-1 and 2-0 which is a surprise. This Germany team with all its fire-power must be good for at least 4 goals here with a 5th and 6th a possibility too.
I'm going to Dutch 3 correct scores for this one as I feel we are getting a good overall price. 4-0,5-0 and 6-0 are priced at 7, 7 and 7.5 which is a net of 2.39 which is huge compared to Germany's 1.02 quotes!
Of course it's a little risky and an away goal kills us, but given to win to nil is 1.18 in places I think these scorelines will give us a good run for our money. Germany will win and win well but they haven't scored 7 for many years now and these 3 scores look the most likely.
