With five rounds to go things are clearing up at the top where the promotion battle will probably be between five teams or so. Throttur are eight points behind the top place and seven from the 2nd place so they need a win if they are to have a chance of promoting.
IR Reykjavik, on the other hand, are in the bottom place but still within reach of the safe zone so a win for them is just as vital.

This has brought IR to the last place with 14 points and an overall of 4-2-11, 18:41. Still, they trail the next two teams by only one point so it‘s certainly not over for them. A win against Throttur could get them out of a relegation place. However, they need to start scoring goals for that to happen and improve their form when travelling since they have only managed one win in eight games.
