Liverpool will travel to Hearts for the first leg of the Europa League play-off tonight. After going down in their Premiership match defeat to West Brom, Brendan Rodgers is set to ring the changes ahead of this match.
With the clash against Manchester City to comne this weekend, the likes of Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson have been left out of the trip to Edinburgh. Don't be surprise to see the likes of Raheem Sterling and Jack Robinson after Brendan Rodgers declared he could give the fringe players a rare outing. Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson will be hoping to earn starts in midfield as they were only on the bench against West Brom.
Meanwhile for Hearts, last season they were beaten by Tottenham 5-0 at Tynecastle in the Europa League last season. For this match they are boosted by the return of winger David Templeton from suspension and he is expected to start this match. Meanwhile, Defender Marius Zaliukas is expected to shake off a dead leg he sustained in last weekend's draw with Inverness to feature. Hearts have signed goalkeeper Peter Enckelman and he is on standby to play with No.1 keeper Jamie MacDonald's availability is in doubt as his partner is due to give birth anytime.
