PREVIEW
Toronto are in town to play Milwaukee but the Brewers are off an epic game yesterday that went 15 innings. As a result, the bullpen come into this with a massive fatigue rating and I can see the Jays taking advantage.
Milwaukee played 15 innings in Minnesota and then had to travel back after the 5-4 loss with the bullpen working 7 innings! Tonight they send out Randy Wolf. The southpaw pitcher is 2-5 with a 5.06 ERA and has not won since the end of April!
I will say that Wolf has not been awful though, as the lack of wins comes down to a lack of run support, never receiving more than 4 from his hitters. Still, behind him come that taxed bullpen, and that is a massive worry.
The Blue Jays counter with right-handed Henderson Alvarez, who is 3-6 with a 3.87ERA. Alvarez has suffered a fair few losses recently and has been tagged for a few homers too, but his road ERA is what intrigues me. He has a 2.52ERA in 5 road starts.
Toronto are on a 3 game winnings streak coming into this, with a 34-32 record and a 15-17 mark away from home. Milwaukee are giving up over 5 runs per home game so I'm going to take my chances on the Jays.
BETTING VERDICT
