Wolves caretaker boss Terry Connor will hope to get his first win in his last match in charge when they travel to face Wigan. Wolves have announced that Norwegian Stale Solbakken will be appointed the new manager on July 1st, which will bring an end to the reign of Connor at the club.
Connor, who was Mick McCarthy's assistant, was promoted to interim manager when the former Republic of Ireland chief was sacked in February. But in his reign in charge they have failed to win a single of their 12 matches in which he was in charge and has been unable to prevent their relegation to the Championship.
As it is, Wolves have lost eight and won none of their last 11 games in the league and have only managed 25 points this season. They have won just two of their away games this season, and will face a difficult task against a Wigan side which siffered just one defeat in their last five games.
Wigan have done well to escape relegation and they did better then last season as they assured safety with one game to go as compared to last season they did it on the final day! They did it by beating Blackburn 1-0 on Monday Night Football and that was all it needed to stay another season in the top flight.
Wigan's management have already announced that Mohamed Diame and Hugo Rodallega will be leaving in the summer when their contracts expire. Victor Moses' future is also in doubt after he broke off contract talks last month.
However, the biggest fear for Latics fans is whether they will be able to retain manager Roberto Martinez for another season. He has masterminded two successful seasons at the club and done so playing a brand of football that has earned him many praises. And Sunday's match will be fitting as they play it in front of their fans and Martinez would want to finish it off with a win.

Christophe Berra and winger Michael Kightly will both undergo late fitness tests after they came off in their last outing with calf and groin strains.
On-loan defender Sebastien Bassong and Kevin Foley are battling to overcome hamstring injuries which kept them out of the goalless draw against Everton. Matt Jarvis is a doubt with a groin strain having missed that game also, while David Davis is a concern with a head injury.
