It looks like only Rapid and Vaslui remained in competition with CFR Cluj to win the title at the end of the season, but CFR made an important step towards their third Liga 1 trophy after beating Dinamo in Bucharest.

FCM Targu Mures (14th W-7 D-10 L-12)
Targu Mures is just one point above the drop zone so every match is like a final for them until the end of the season. Losing at home against Vaslui on their previous match was quite a setback, but they have shown some positive things in that match.
Vaslui took a 2-0 lead in the first half and the match was heading to an easy Vaslui win, but Targu Mures netted twice in the second half before Liga 1 top scorer Wesley scored the decisive goal that gave Vaslui all points.
Targu Mures collected the majority of their points when playing at home, but at this point of the season they’ll have to try to squeeze some points from their travels as well if they want to avoid relegation.

The Betting Verdict
Targu Mures doesn’t have exceptional players, but their coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabau is known for an excellent organization of his teams, with the focus mainly on defense.
The tactic paid off on their last travel to Galati when they faced Otelul, picking up an important point after holding Otelul to a goalless draw.
Rapid will have a lot of work to do to break this defense and the fact that their stadium is being suspended (no supporters allowed) won’t help at all.
Ok, Rapid is likely to edge this, they are in the battle for the title and have a better team on paper, but it’s not that easy to win games in Liga 1 anymore, the upsets just can’t seem to stop lately.
