A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Match Preview :
Everton goes into this match with the aim of going six points ahead of their locel Merseyside rivals Liverpool when they take on Wolves at the Molineux who are still without a win under Terry Connor. David Moyes side who suffered a defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup semi finals, whom Chelsea beat last night to win the FA Cup, will want to finish the season in a higher position then Liverpool.
Everton need four points from their remaining two games to be certain of finishing seventh for a second consecutive season. And no doubt David Moyes will fancy his chances of getting three of those points against Wolves, a team they are unbeaten against in their last five games.
As Wolves are already relegated, Connor's side will only be playing for pride in front of their own fans with nothing left to play for. Wolves will also be looking to avoid the distinction of equalling Sunderland's unwanted record of being the only team to lose 10 consecutive home games in the Premier League. Their winless streak - home and away - now stands at 12 matches and Connor will be desperate to pick up a win before the season comes to an end.
Team News :
Wolves Team News :
Matt Jarvis is a doubt for Wolves and could be replaced by Stephen Hunt if he fails to recover in time. Meanwhile, Connor has on-loan Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong available again but could decide against using the player with relegation already confirmed.
Ronald Zubar and Roger Johnson could also be pushing for a recall in defence, after they conceded four goals in defence.
Everton Team News :
Everton will be forced to make a change from the team that drew at Stoke as Victor Anichebe was injured early in that match. Magaye Gueye, who replaced Anichebe on the night, is in pole position to come in for the Nigerian forward.
