Both sides have different aims heading into this match. While Lazio needs the points to keep their third place, Lecce meanwhile are fighting for their survival in Serie A. It does not look good for Lecce in this encounter as Lazio have a strong record in this tie, as in 13 top flight games at the Stadio Olimpico, they have won nine, and drawn three. Despite Lecce winning last season 2-1, that was still their first and only win at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio no doubt looks to strike and get the much needed win here to keep their third spot.
