Siena comes into this match without a win in their last seven games and Siena are just three points above the relegation zone so they will have a long and hard battle in the second half of the season.
Siena did managed to avoid defeat in the last match of 2011 by managing a draw in the Tuscan derby. But prior to that they lost their last four games so they must dig deep and find the strength to pull themselves clear of danger and show that they are capable of if they are to avoid relegation.

Edy Reja may be boosted by the arrival of Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro in a reported co-ownership deal with Genoa as well as reports that Inter are set to let Mauro Zarate return early on his loan deal.
Federico Marchetti has also hinted that he will be fit enough to face Siena, but Brazilian midfielder Hernanes is a doubt after undergoing medical examination.
