Newcastle United goes into this match aiming to end their five matches winless run since they last won against Everton 2-1 back in 5th November.

West Bromwich arrives boosted by the weekend win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. It should be noted that since beating West Brom back in February 2009 by 3-2, Newcastle have now gone five games without a win against them as well.
