Match Preview :
Manchester United knows that with every match their title is on the line and a win here could send them top of the Premiership standings.
Man United led the standings for a while last weekend after a 2-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers, only for Manchester City to reclaim top spot a few hours later after beating Arsenal.
With Man City taking on Stoke there is a possibility they will be trailing their neighbours come Christmas period.
Despite the shock exit from the UEFA Champions League, the Red Devils still managed to produced the domestic results that mattered most.
Manchester United beat QPR away from home and that was their sixth away win this season, which is one more than Ferguson's men managed in last term's championship-winning campaign.
It has to be said, however that Craven Cottage has not been the happiest hunting ground in recent seasons, with Fulham winning the previous two before last term's 2-2 draw.
United must be cautious here as Fulham have also beaten Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers in their last two home games.

The good news for United is that Javier Hernandez has made a quicker than expected return from an ankle injury and he is in contention to start after replacing Danny Welbeck in the second half at Loftus Road.

United are expected to keep the same back four from their clash with QPR as captain Nemanja Vidic out for the season, Rafael nearing a return and the Brazilian's twin brother Fabio also edging closer to a comeback.
