2011-12-20 - Wolverhampton Wander vs Norwich City
A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Match Preview :
Mick McCarthy's Wolves side are currently fourth from the bottom welcomes Norwich to the Molineux and after back to back defeats, will be looking to get the win here and move away from the relegation zone.
Wolves have lost four of their last five games and needs a win here badly. Last weekend they were beaten by Stoke 2-1 and another defeat here would not go down well with the home fans.
Norwich have exceeded expectation and riding high in ninth, and have lost just one in their last four coming into this match.
Interestingly, tonight's meeting is the first league clash between the two clubs in three years, and it is the first time they have met in the top-flight since 1983. It has to be said though that Norwich do not have a great record in the Black Country with their last win coming back in 1995.
Team News :
The home side Wolves will miss the services of key midfielder Jamie O'Hara, who has a calf problem. Also out will be Dave Edwards. He was also missing in the weekend defeat to Stoke.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Adlene Guedioura will both be hoping they can break into the starting eleven tonight. Kevin Foley and Jody Craddock are also out but they are expected to play for the reserves in midweek.
Meanwhile, Norwich travel with no fresh injury concerns after their weekend draw at Everton. Defender Ritchie de Laet is set to return to training this week, but this match comes too soon for him. James Vaughan and Elliott Ward are both missing with knee injuries.
