Chelsea sit top of Group E, with Bayer Leverkusen a point behind, Valencia a further point behind and tonight they face bottom of the pack Genk. Chelsea are rightly favoured in this home match but obviously the prices are just not worth it. Good shout for any accumulators though.

Chelsea had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Valencia after taking the lead through Lampard but Genk managed a very impressive draw too, when they held the Spaniards to a 0-0 draw. That's the only result the Belgians have, because they lost to Leverkusen 2-0. On the other hand, Chelsea managed to beat the Germans 2-0. Throw in home field advantage and it makes becomes clear that Chelsea will likely win this by more than just 1 goal.

Coming into this, Chelsea look stronger. On the weekend, the Blues battered Everton in the Premier League by a 3-0 score. Chelsea sit 3rd in the league, and have too much talent in Mata, Lampard, Drogba and Torres, to name a few. Torres has been serving a domestic ban of 3 games but is available for selection tonight and can be depended on to put in a performance.

Conversely, Genk are struggling in Belgium. So far they sit 9th and have just 3 wins from their 10 matches. Also, they come here having lost their last 2 matches domestically, hardly the best preparation for a very tough away fixture in Europe.

The Chelsea defence has been performing well in restricting opposition from scoring, and with Genk failing to score through 2 games I don't trust them to net here. The only big absentee here will be Ramires, who has a knee injury.

BETTING VERDICT

I would not be surprised to see a win to nil here, but I'd rather put my trust in Chelseas attack to pull so far ahead they cover the alternate handicap.
