CSKA Moscow takes on surprise Group B leaders Travzonspor in this early kickoff and it is a key match for both sides especially with CSKA currently bottom of the standings on one point and Trabzonspor leading the way on four.

Slutski is expected to be without midfielder Sekou Oliseh, who suffered a hamstring injury in training last week, but has indicated he will look again at the Liberian midfielder's fitness prior to kickoff.

CSKA have drawn with Lille and lost to Inter Milan so far in this European campaign, but defender Kirill Nababkin still expects them to finish in the top two in Group B.
