Ah yes, THE London derby everyone is talking about. Fulham entertain QPR, ooh I can hardly wait.

I'm not sure how many of you will watch this, what with other stuff being on, but it looks like it could be a tough battle here. QPR are looking increasingly tough since the end of August, unbeaten in fact. Tony Fernandes' takeover has seen Joey Barton move to the Shepherds Bush based club, and now they are nipping across to take on 17th placed Fulham, who have not won a league game yet.

Fulham are actually on a short week here, having travelled to play Odense on Thursday. They won 2-0 in Denmark, but the trip will have taken it's toll on a team struggling to win it's first match domestically. That's not to say they can't score compete.

Martin Jol has seen his team record some decent result though, the pick of which came against Manchester City, where they clawed back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2. In the Carling Cup, Fulham managed to keep Chelsea off the scoreboard until penalties. In their last match, Fulham kept a clean sheet. Now, they face QPR, who are new to the Premier League. You would think this would mean they would manage another but I disagree.

QPR, who boast the likes of Joey Barton, DJ Campbell and Shaun Wright-Phillips, have managed to win away from home more than once, 1-0 at Everton and 3-0 at Wolves. Note they managed clean sheets in both of those games, but more importantly, scored a bunch. For some reason, this team plays more freely away and is able to score as a result.

BETTING VERDICT

I'm not going to get involved with the result, which I have no idea about due to the erratic nature of these two teams.

Fulham would have been the pick but they are off a big win in Europe and now come back probably a bit tired. Over 90 minutes, I expect that fatigue to result in a lapse in quality of defence and that is all we need to win this bet.
