Newly-promoted Concordia is the only team from the Liga 1 yet to obtain a victory this season. They collected 3 points so far, all of them from draws, results which places them in the bottom of the table.
Chiajna thought that if they transfer some players with a lot of experience like Eugen Trica (ex-CFR Cluj), Petre Marin (ex-Steaua) or Baltoi (ex-Dinamo) will give them an edge over the competitors, but all these players are well over their thirties and seem not capable to stay competitive at this level.
Chiajna lost all their home games this season, scoring one goal and conceding seven. They were defeated by Sportul Studentesc as well, a team that has only won one away game in the entire 2010-2011 season. Concordia also lost to Petrolul Ploiesti (0-2), a team that has just promoted as well.
Chiajna is not doing any better in the Romanian Cup either, they were just eliminated at their first game, losing against the same team that beat them in the league as well, Petrolul Ploiesti (1-4).

Brasov showed some quality football in the beginning of the season, but the results were quite inconsistent, a win have always been followed by a defeat, but Brasov is now coming after two positive results.
They travelled to Bucharest two weeks ago to face Rapid Bucuresti, a team that is involved in the Europa League and are among the favorites to win the championship this season and despite conceding a first half goal, Brasov fought back and found an equalizer that gave them a well deserved point. This result was followed by a home win against Petrolul Ploiesti and Brasov is now sitting in the middle of the table.
Mugurel Buga, a 33 years old striker, who started his career at Brasov and then moved to Rapid where he scored numerous goals in both league and European competitions, returned to Brasov and managed to score his first goal which turned out to be decisive in the match against Petrolul.
The betting verdict
Concordia is clearly one of the weakest sides from this season’s Liga 1, maybe even the weakest and in my opinion they will keep giving away points on their imminent road to Liga 2 at the end of their first season in the first league.
Despite not having the strength to fight for a top position, Brasov is one of the quality sides from the Romanian league, in a good day they can defeat any Liga 1 team.
I am surprised that they only collected one point from three away games, because Brasov has some excellent counter-attack players upfront, like Chipciu (3 goals) and Cristescu (1 goal). The odds for the away win are quite tempting but I will go with a safer option which is Brasov DNB at a fair price.
