Both teams started their Serie A campaign in the worst possible starts when they lost their opening match. And now there is a danger that Inter and Roma could be left behind by the other Scudetto contenders as they struggle to adjust after they had changed their players, coaches and style of play.
At present though bosses Gian Piero Gasperini and Luis Enrique are less concerned about the Scudetto and their main priority is to keep their coaching jobs.
Inter's misery started when they lost to Palermo 4-3 last Sunday. In that match they conceded four goals in 41 minutes to a side led by Serie A’s youngest Coach. Meanwhile Roma’s American President Thomas Di Benedetto has also vowed to support Enrique after their opening day defeat to Cagliari. It was a game Roma dominated with 59 per cent possession and 16 shots, but they failed to take their chances and were taken by Cagliari on the counter attacks.
Even though Roma has a side with a lot of talents, but with 11 new signings to integrate it could be a while before they blend together. In the past this encounter has seen a lot of goals with 3-2 Roma in 2005-06, 3-3 in 2008-09, 5-3 Inter last term, another high scoring affair could be on the cards here.

Inter’s injured include Maicon, Emiliano Viviano, Thiago Motta, Cristian Chivu and Andrea Poli.
Roma’s Cicinho, Juan and Leandro Greco are injured and Jose Angel is suspended, but David Pizarro is available once more.
