A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Match Preview :
By the time the Red Devils start this match they will know that they will most likely have to play catch up with Manchester City [unless an upset occurs] and will need to win this match to be level on points with their City neighbours.
Bolton have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League and will be keen to get back to winning ways when they face the Champions in this North West derby.
Owen Coyle's side have scored seven goals in their last three games, but have been equally bad as they conceded six in their last two games.
Bolton does have the statistics against them going into this clash. Bolton have won only one of their last 17 meetings with United, and that solitary success was four years ago! What is certain is that it is not likely to be a stalemate here with Bolton having gone 13 top-flight games since they were last involved in a draw.
United will want nothing then all three points here following a 100% start so far this season. They have scored 13 times already this season and will arrive at the Reebok with an 8-2 thrashing of Arsenal still fresh in their minds.
Team News :
Bolton are set to field their new signings in the form of David Ngog, Gael Kakuta and Dedryck Boyata for this match.
Stuart Holden has been playing for the reserves as he continues his comeback from the knee injury he sustained against United in March, but this match has come too soon for him.
Ricardo Gardner (groin) is also still working his way back to full fitness, while Lee Chung-yong, Tyrone Mears (both broken leg), Marcos Alonso (broken metatarsal) and Sam Ricketts (Achilles) are still out of the side.
For Manchester United, Rio Ferdinand could come back into the starting lineup. Phil Jones and Jonny Evans have impressed at centre-half of late, but Sir Alex Ferguson could turn to his tried and tested side that beat Arsenal last time out.
With club captain Nemanja Vidic is still nursing a calf complaint that means Evans is likely to keep his place in the side. Rafael (shoulder) and Danny Welbeck (hamstring) remain sidelined, but Antonio Valencia is closing on a comeback after shaking off an ankle knock.
Watch out for Rooney and Hernanded upfront to get the goals.
